WHO: Nearly 15 Million Deaths Linked to COVID-19

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that nearly 15 million people were killed either by the coronavirus or by its effects on health care systems in the past two years. Most of the deaths were in Southeast Asia, Europe and the Americas.
