What to Know about South Korea’s Short Period of Martial Law
South Korea’s President Yoon Suk Yeol sent heavily armed forces into Seoul’s streets and suddenly declared martial law this week. All present members of parliament voted to cancel Yoon’s declaration. The parliament has called for Yoon to be removed from office.
