US Seeks Ban on Chinese, Russian Tech for Self-driving Vehicles
The U.S. Commerce Department has proposed a ban on the sale of self-driving vehicles that use Chinese or Russian technologies. The agency said providing access to such systems through software or hardware could lead some foreign governments to collect “sensitive data” and seek control of vehicles.
