US Librarians Fear Penalties, Prison over Book Bans
Across the country, there have been the most book bans and attempted bans in decades. And now some lawmakers are considering adding new threats: lawsuits, high fines, and even imprisonment for distributing books considered by some to be obscene or inappropriate.
