US Agency Plans Deeper Study of Sea Turtles, Dredging Threat
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has agreed to perform an environmental study to see if dredging a Georgia shipping area during sea turtle nesting season would pose a threat to the rare turtles. One Hundred Miles, a Georgia conservation group, took legal action against the Corps.
