Testing Begins on Release of Fukushima Water into the Sea

Japan’s damaged Fukushima nuclear center began testing a process to release treated wastewater into the sea. The treated water is to be mixed with seawater before being released into the Pacific Ocean about 1 kilometer from the coast.
