Study: Ancient Americans Depended Heavily on Mammoth for Food
A new study suggests North America’s first humans depended heavily on mammoths and other large animals for food. The finding is based on studies of a woman’s diet who lived during the Ice Age. Scientists examined bones from the woman’s young son, who was still breast-feeding when he died.
