Stone Tools Might Be Earliest Evidence of Human Ancestors in Europe

A new study estimates the age of stone tools found in Ukraine to be about 1.4 million years old. The tools are believed to have been made by an ancestor of modern man. Researchers used a dating method that uses cosmic rays to find the age of the tools.
