Scientists Say Bird Flu Is Hurting World’s Seal Population
An ongoing avian influenza, or bird flu, outbreak has killed thousands of seals and sea lions in different parts of the world. Scientists said deaths have been reported in parts of the U.S., Chile, Peru and Argentina.
