Scientists Question if Melting Ice in Antarctica Will Continue to Increase
Over the past ten years, increasing amounts of ice have been melting in Antarctica. Ice core data link similar rapid increases in melting in the past to long periods of melting and higher sea levels. Scientists question whether current melting is the beginning of such a long-term phase.
