Nobel Prize Brings Attention to Worldwide Inequality
Three American researchers won the Nobel Prize in Economics for their studies into why countries grow wealthy or poor. They found that democracy, the rule of law, and the protection of property rights prevent a small ruling class from owning most resources and wealth.
