NASA Launches Instrument to Measure World’s Carbon, Methane

NASA has launched an instrument to measure the world’s carbon and methane levels. The instrument, attached to a satellite called Tanager-1, launched August 16. The effort aims to support the collection of detailed data on methane and carbon dioxide emissions to reduce pollution worldwide.
