In Vietnam, New Rice Growing Methods Aim to Reduce Methane

Farmers in Vietnam are growing rice using a new method thought to reduce emissions of methane gas and labor costs. The method is called alternate wetting and drying. It uses about 30 percent less water than traditional ways of growing rice.
