How to promote the new brand:

Emily : Right so our next major software launch is coming up soon, so we need to get to work. Any ideas on how we can improve on the last event?

Paul : I think we failed to welcome the guests well enough last time. I mean, little things like hanging up their coats when they arrive, helps to make them feel more at home. It’s a small things that count, yes ?
Emily : Yes, yep agreed, any other ideas along the same lines?
Andrew : Yes, I noticed that last time we kept on splitting up large groups as we hadn’t spent enough time planning tables. By the end of the night, several people came complaining, and I really think it affected our sales.
Emily : Yes I remember that was awkward.  Andrew, I’ll leave you in charge of that this time. Let’s keep on the same theme as I think we’re on to something if we focus on making our guests feel like a million dollars. What else can we do to make them feel comfortable? Have I left anyone out? What about you George?
George : Well I came across a great idea at another event last week. The company offered a free gift bag on arrival. That may cost a lot, but they made the money back at the end of the night!
Andrew : Yes. And it helps keep top of mind when guests use our goodies after the event.
Emily : Ok we could be on to something there; all these ideas are brilliant! I’ll get on to accounting to see about the budget for the event, and I’m confident we can make all these ideas work.
