Using “no sooner”
“No sooner” is used to talk about an action that happened immediately after another.
For example :
– No sooner had I turned my phone on than I received a phone call.
– No sooner had I fell asleep than I woke up again.
– No sooner had I started cooking dinner than I had to leave for an emergency.
