(Paul puts glass bottle in regular bin)
Lizzie : Dad, what are you doing ?
Paul : What does it look like I’m doing ?  I’m putting a glass bottle in the rubbish bin.
Lizzie : No, but don’t but the glass bottle in the regular bin !
Paul : But it’s the only bin we have.
(Lizzie to camera : Recently at school, we’ve been learning about recycling , I realised we weren’t doing any at home !  How terrible is that ? I decided to change things ! )
Lizzie : No, look, we have three bins now.  The green one is for food waste, the yellow one is for recyclable waste and the black one is for regular waste.
Paul : So I put my glass bottle in the recyclable bin.
Lizzie : No, the recycling is just for paper and cardboard.  I have a special bag here for bottles and once it’s full all we have to do is empty it at the bottle bank.
Paul : Well, maybe you’re right, we could do a bit more for the environment.  I mean recycling doesn’t take much time.
Lizzie : It’s the little things that count, like turning the lights off.  And you could stop using your car everyday to go to work.
Paul : But my work is far away, how am I going to get there otherwise ?
Lizzie : You could just use public transport.  I looked into it and it turns out there’s a bus stop right in front of your office.
Paul : But surely that’s going to add time to my commute.
Lizzie : Only 10 minutes, but think of all the good you’d be doing to the the planet !
