Mum & Joe’s school report

Joe : Hi Mum
Michele : Hi Joe, how are you ?
Joe : Not too bad.
Michele : Oh..That doesn’t too good.
Joe : Well, we got our school reports… and mine’s not great…
Michele : Oh.. It can’t be that bad.  Why don’t you let me have a look at it then ?
Joe : Okay…Here you go…
Michele : Sweetheart, you’re too hard on yourself. Overall, it’s pretty good. You just have to work on your presentation skills.
Joe : Yes, but I’m not comfortable speaking in front of  a lot of people.  And our teacher always makes us present in front of the whole class.  I hate doing that.  It makes me so nervous.
Michele : Oh, I know.  I was just the same.
Joe : Really ?
Michele : Yes, I used to get really nervous, and I used to go all red in the face. But I had one teacher who helped me.  She told me to close my eyes and imagine the room was empty, and take a deep breath before starting.
Joe : I’ve got a presentation to do in Spanish class next week, can you help me ?
Michele : Of course.  What’s it on ?
Joe : Any topic.
Michele : Well, it would help to do your presentation on something that you enjoy.
Joe : You know I like playing video games.
Michele : Too much for my liking.  But that’s alright. Why don’t you choose your favourite video game to do your presentation on ?
Joe : Brilliant ! Thanks Mum !
Michele : Now you go do your homework and we’ll work on your presentation together at the weekend.
Joe : You’re the best !
