Matt & Simon

Simon : I’d like to travel. So I thought I’d work for 6 months so I could save up enough money, so that I could travel. My Mum said that I could work in her company.
Matt : Where would you go ?
Simon : I’d like to go to Australia, I haven’t been there so why not ?
Matt : It’s far away ! What will you do if you miss you family and friends ?
Simon : It’s only for 6 months ! And I’m sure I’ll find some new friends. Besides, there’s always Skype and Whatsapp.
Matt : What will you do if you run out of money ?
Simon : Well, there’s always work over there, so I’m sure I could find a job, any job. And plus I’ll work with my visa and people there will ask for students to work maybe in orchards or farms or allotments.
Matt : What if you fall sick ?
Simon : Oh please, stop worrying Matt. You sound like my parents ! Plus, I might not even be going ! If I get my first choice university, then I won’t need to do a gap year.
Matt : It must be great to do a gap year. Anyway, my parents won’t let me. But, I got my first choice university.
Simon : You must be so happy !
Matt : Fingers crossed for you !
