To Get
‘To get’ is used for different reasons.
We use “get” to :
– say “obtain” : eg. I got a new car. (= I obtained a new car.)
– say “become” or to describe a change of situation : eg. I will get old.
– describe things that happen : eg. My car got damaged. (we add -ed to the main verb)
– say that we make something happen : eg. I’m getting my car repaired.
You can conjugate “get” for every situation.
