The “be going to” future
The “be going to” future is used to talk about future plans and intentions.
Forms of the “be going to” future :
– Affirmative form : Subject + to be + going to + infinitive verb (eg. I am going to dress up).
– Negative form : Subject + to be + not + going to + infinitive verb (eg. I am not going to dress up).
– Question form : To be + subject + going to + infinitive verb (eg. Am I going to dress up ?).
