“Will” and “Going to” for predictions

• We use “will” to make a future prediction if we are guessing. We are not sure about the prediction because we have no evidence.

Example : I think that the company will close.

• We use “going to” to make future predictions when we are sure. We are sure because we have evidence.

Example : The company is going to close next year.
