George : Hello everyone. Thank you for coming to this meeting today. It’s not going to take long, but I wanted to update you on some changes to our company’s structure.
With increased competition in our field, it’s going to be a difficult year ahead of us. We have decided to add a string to our bow, by acquiring a new company. If we don’t diversify, Star Tech Enterprise simply won’t survive.
As the fight against climate change accelerates, so too will demand for sources of renewable energy. Solar power is going to play a major role in mitigating climate change around the world. So I’m pleased to announce that Star Tech Enterprise will be part of the green energy revolution.
We have recently acquired Solar Tech, a company that manufactures solar panels. The solar panels of tomorrow will look very different from the ones we use today. Our researchers have developed transparent solar panels that can be applied to just about anything : vehicles, buildings, windows, and even mobile phones. It’s hard to predict the future, but I truly believe that solar energy will be used everywhere.
