Kate and Hannah in music teacher’s office :

Hannah : Hello Kate, thanks for coming to see me. I just wanted to see how you were getting on.
Kate : OK, I think.
Hannah : You’ve had really good grades so far so well done ! Have you started on the new project ?
Kate : Well, no, I haven’t yet. I need inspiration.
Hannah : Have you listened to any new music ?
Kate : Well, I listened to an album last week, but I didn’t like it and I was disappointed.
Hannah : Have you been to any concerts recently ?
Kate : No, I’m working really hard on the course and at my student job at the coffee house so I hadn’t had time to go out recently.
Hannah : So when was the last time you went to a concert ?
Kate : 2 months ago.
Hannah : And what did you see ?
Kate : Well, I saw a friend and his band at the local jazz club. He plays the saxophone and he’s a great artist. It was their best gig !
Hannah : So have you been to the new jazz club on West Street ?
Kate : No, I haven’t. I didn’t know there was a new jazz club.
Hannah : Yes, it’s just opened. They opened 2 weeks ago. In fact they have a good concert this weekend so if you like jazz, why don’t you go ?
Kate : That’s a great idea. In fact, I love singing and I’d love to be a jazz singer.
Hannah : It could inspire you for your project !
