Superlatives
Superlatives are used to describe the extreme quality of one thing in a group of things (low or high).
1. One syllable adjectives :
For the superlative, add -est

| Big | Bigger | Biggest |
| Small | Smaller | Smallest |
| Kind | Kinder | Kindest |
CAREFUL! : If the spelling is consonant + single vowel + consonant, the final consonant must be doubled :
Bad ⇒ Badder ⇒ Baddest
Big ⇒ Bigger ⇒ Biggest
2. Two syllable adjectives :
If the comparison ends in er ⇒ add -est
If the comparison starts with more ⇒ start with most
