(Door bell rings)

Simon : Hi ! Is Lizzie here ?
Joe : She’s gone shopping with Mum, but she’s coming back in 15 minutes. Do you want to wait here for her ?
Simon : Sure.
Joe : Come in. I can show you our new apartment, if you like ?
Simon : OK then.
Joe : So, this is our kitchen, well it’s more like Mum’s kitchen ! She loves cooking and she never lets anybody help her. So, this is our living room. Be careful of the coffee table.
Simon : Where’s the TV ?
Joe : There isn’t a TV because there’s a video projector. It’s so cool for watching movies on the sofa. (Simon sits on an armchair) Don’t sit there – that’s Dad’s favourite armchair ! He always sits here. So, this is our bathroom. There’s isn’t a bath but there’s a walk-in shower.
Simon : What’s this ?
Joe : It’s a sauna, but we hardly ever use it. It’s where we keep the towels !
So, this is my parent’s bedroom. They have cool lights on top of their bed : they change colour ! And they have lots of wardrobe space : this is my Mum’s and this is my Dad’s.
And this is my Dad’s desk. He sometimes « works » from home, but usually he plays video games on his computer.
Simon : And where’s your room ?
Joe : Here it is ! My room with all my stuff !
Simon : And do you have a TV ?
Joe : No, my parents won’t let me have one. Do you want to play video games and wait for Lizzie ?
Simon : Of course !
