Kate : Two people. Can we sit in the middle please ?
Thomas : Let me check. Sure, no problem.  Please follow me.  Can I take your coats ?
Kate : No, thank you. We’re good.
Thomas : Hello, here’s our food menu and our drink list. The specials of the day are on the board. For starters we have vegetable soup, and we have for mains the lamb shank and the fish n chips and for desert we have the apple pie and the chocolate mousse.
Alexandra : How is the lamb shank served ?
Thomas : It comes with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables : broccoli and asparagus.
Alexandra : Sounds delicious.
Thomas : Would you like anything to drink?
Alexandra : Yes, please.
Kate : Can we have your house reds please.
Thomas : Alright and would you like any water with it ?
Kate : Yeah, sparkling water please !
Thomas : Sounds good, I’ll come back in a few minutes.

Thomas : Here’s the wine. Would like to taste it ?
Alexandra : Yes I will.
Thomas : Alright. Special wine from France.
Alexandra : Yes, it’s excellent, thank you.
Thomas : Alright, I wll serve you after. Are you ready to order ?
Alexandra : Yes, I’ll have the lamb shank please.
Thomas : And for you ?
Kate : I’ll have the Fish n chips please.
Thomas : Sounds good. Anything else ?
Alexandra : Could I have some ketchup please ?
Thomas : Sure, no problem. And for dessert ?
Kate : Should we order desserts now ?
Thomas : As you wish.  But I just want to let you know we are running out of apple pie.
Kate : That’s OK, I’d just take the fruit salad.
Thomas : And for you?
Alexandra : A chocolate mousse for me !
Thomas : Sounds good.  I’ll be back.
