On the phone :
Alexandra : Hey Kate, how are you ?
Kate : I’m good, how are you ?
Alexandra : I’m calling to see if you want to meet up ? I don’t have to work and I don’t have any plans !
Kate : Sure.
Alexandra : How about dinner tomorrow night ?
Kate : I can’t, I have dinner with friends.
Alexandra : Are you free in the afternoon ?
Kate : I’m working in the coffee shop. Pippa gave me a job !
Alexandra : Really ? Well done. Are you working on Sunday ?
Kate : No, I’m not ! I don’t work on Sundays.
Alexandra : Shall we do something together on Sunday?
Kate : I can’t. I have to visit my grandmother, she is sick.
Alexandra : It’s a shame. I’d really like to see you.
Kate : I have an idea. Why don’t you come to dinner with my friends tomorrow night ?
Alexandra : Would that be OK ?
Kate : Sure. Oh it’s just friends from my course and we’re going out to dinner to this new Asian restaurant. It’s cool.
Alexandra : Well, if you don’t mind… What time are you meeting up?
Kate : Well, we’re meeting up at eight at the restaurant, but if you want, we could meet up at seven at The King’s Head pub ? It’s next to the restaurant so we could just walk there afterwards.
Alexandra : That sounds great. Thanks a lot. See you on Saturday at 7 at The King’s Head pub !
