Adjectives
Adjectives are used to describe people, things and events.
The form of adjectives never change, they don’t change if the subject is male, female, singular or plural.
When we use several adjectives, here are three rules:
- If we use two or more adjectives before a noun you need to use a comma:
(eg: She is a little, old lady)
- If we don’t have a noun you need to use ‘and’:
(eg: I am rich and famous)
- If you use a lot of aadjectives you need to put them in this order: SIZE, AGE, COLOUR, NATIONALITY, MATERIAL:
(eg: That house is enormous, blue, and wooden / She is young, blonde and Finnish)
