George & Melissa at the bar, Paul walks in
George : I’m really happy to see you !
Melissa : Yeah I’m really happy to see you too ! How are you ?
George : I’m well, but I’m very busy at the moment.
(sees Paul) Oh, this is Paul, our new Sales Director ! Hi Paul !
Paul : Hi, how are you ? Do you come here often ?
George : No, it’s my first time. It’s a great place ! This is my friend, Melissa. She’s the supplier at Star Tech Enterprise. And this is Paul, our new sales Director.
Melissa : It’s really nice to meet you.
Paul : Nice to meet you. Are you American ?
Melissa : No, no, I’m British. Where are you from ?
Paul : I’m from England. I’m from Manchester originally. I worked there for a long time for a big retailer before moving to London.
Melissa : But that’s really interesting. So, my sister, she also worked for a big retailer in Manchester : Ella Housey.
Paul : Ella ! What a coincidence, we were colleagues.
Melissa : But, did she work in sales ?
Paul : No, she didn’t work in sales, she worked in marketing. But we worked together on a lot of projects.
George : Paul enjoys playing tennis. Melissa, do you like tennis ?
Melissa : Yeah, I do. And in fact, I’m looking for a new tennis partner. We could play next week ?
Paul : Yes. How about Tuesday evening ? Are you free ?
Melissa : Let me check. Tuesday… Yes, that could work, yeah ! What time ?
Paul : Shall we say… 6pm ?
Melissa : OK.
Paul : What’s your number ?
Melissa : So it’s 06 25 32 87 93.
Paul : Alright. I’ll send you a text, so we can keep in touch. Are you any good ?
Melissa : No, I enjoy tennis but I’m not that good !
(to the camera : When I was younger, I was the local tennis champion )
Paul : Me neither ! We’ll see on Tuesday.
Melissa : OK.
Melissa and George : Bye
Melissa : I’ll see you on Tuesday !
George : Right Melissa, do you want a beer ?
Melissa : No, no beer, I’ll have a water please. The training starts now !
