e.g.
I am quite good at tennis
I am very bad at cooking
Adverbs of degree
Help us to understand the intensity of a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. They usually come before the adjective, verb or adverb that they are modifying.

| Quite | Adjective | I can dance quite well. |
| Very | Adverb | I can run very fast. |
| Adjective | I can play guitar very well. |
CAREFUL!
Very and too are not identical .
Very ⇒ A fact (Très)
Too ⇒ Too much of something, it is a problem. (Trop)
e.g. :
It is very hot (There is a lot of heat)
It is too hot (There is too much heat)
