Present Simple : 3rd person
PRESENT SIMPLE HE/SHE/IT POSITIVE
In the present, regular verbs are conjugated with an s in the third person.
À la 3ème personne (au présent), les verbes réguliers se conjuguent avec un s.
e.g.
To play (Jouer)
I play
You play
He, she, it, plays
Verbs which finish with sounds ‘ss’ or ‘ch’ take the ending ‘es’.
Les verbes qui se terminent avec les sons ‘ss’ ou ‘ch’ prennent la terminaison ‘es’.
e.g.
To Wash (Se laver)
I wash
you wash
He, she, it washes
e.g.
To dress up (Se deguiser)
I dress up
you dress up
He, she, it dresses up
To Remember
Be, have and do are all irregular auxiliary verbs, and are conjugated as follows :
‘Be’, ‘have’ et ‘do’ sont tous irréguliers, et se conjuguent de la sorte :
