(Voice over) : A Human Resources Manager guides and manages the Human Resources services, policies, and programmes for a company.

The major areas the Human Resources Manager include:
-Recruiting,
-Organizational planning,
-Performance management,
-Development and training of personnel,
-Employment and compliance with regulatory standards,
-Policy development and documentation,
-Employee relations,
-Compensation and benefits administration,
-Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health,

A Human Resources manager prepares reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track objectives.

A Human Resources manager develops and administers procedures, and guidelines to help employees understand the strategic ambitions of the company.

An HR manager also participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.

A typical day for a Human Resources manager may include meeting a department manager who wants to recruit more staff. Writing job descriptions. Interviewing an applicant for a new job, and writing an evaluation. Meeting with a manager to discuss an employee with low performance. Looking at brochures and selecting training programs. Or reading reports on the latest national laws about employment, and preparing a summary for the company director.
