So you work for a company in the centre of town?

Emily : We work with customers in different countries : Spain, Germany, Egypt, New Zealand and Brazil. We develop software programs. My boss is George Henderson. He is the CEO of Star Tech Enterprise. He founded the company in 2005. I have 50 people in my office, and we also have an office in Aberdeen, Scotland.

So you work in a coffee shop?

Pippa : Yes, I am the manager of CoffeeBreak. It is a shop near the cathedral. We sell coffee, but we also sell tea and cold drinks! We make cakes and biscuits. People come to our shop to drink a coffee with friends. The shop is open from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 o’clock to 7:00 o’clock. 5 people work in the shop: a cook, a waiter, two people to serve the coffee, and me!

So you work at the university?

Hannah : Yes, it’s a very international university, with people from many different countries. At the moment we have Japanese and Chinese students. They study languages, music or art. We have a media centre and a very good library where students can work. They usually stay for 3 years to obtain a degree.
