Ancient Meteorite Was a ‘Fertilizer Bomb’ for Life on Earth
The space rock that hit Earth 66 million years ago and killed off the dinosaurs was not the largest meteorite ever to strike our planet. A much bigger one hit more than 3 billion years ago. And researchers of that event say it may have been helpful for the early development of life.
