Developers of AI Methods Win Nobel Prize in Physics
British-Canadian Citizen Geoffrey Hinton and American John Hopfield received this year’s Nobel Prize in Physics for their work in artificial intelligence (AI). Hopfield and Hinton developed methods in machine learning, but Hinton has warned of the dangers of the technology.
