Spanish Scientist Uses Bacteria to Repair 18th-century Artworks

A Spanish scientist is using bacteria to repair 18th-century paintings. Pilar Bosch is working with her mother on a restoration project to remove old glue from artworks at a Spanish church. Small amounts of glue are fed to the bacteria, which then naturally produces enzymes to break down the glue.
