Britain’s Last Coal-Fired Power Station Set to Close

Britain’s last coal-fired power station is set to close at the end of this month. The closure will end all coal-linked burning for electricity production. The Conservative-led government announced in 2015 it would close all coal-fired power stations by 2025 in an effort to reduce carbon emissions.
