As Birthrates Slow, China Raises Its Retirement Age
China’s legislature announced it is raising the retirement age for citizens. Starting soon, men will be able to retire at 63 instead of 60. Women will be able to retire at either 55 or 58 instead of 50. The change will take place over 15 years.
