WHO Calls for Donations after Declaring Mpox a ‘Health Emergency’
The World Health Organization declared the recent outbreak of mpox in Africa a public health emergency of international concern last week. The U.N. agency has called for donations to fight the outbreak. Ninety-six percent of cases are in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
