SpaceX to Build Vehicle to Deorbit Space Station

NASA has chosen SpaceX to develop a vehicle to take the International Space Station out of orbit at the end of its service life. The vehicle will guide the ISS into the Earth’s atmosphere at the end of its “operational life,” which has been set for 2030.
