Doctors’ Group: Mothers with HIV Can Breastfeed
The American Academy of Pediatrics now says healthcare workers should help women infected with HIV to breastfeed their babies. It says the risk of spreading HIV through breast milk is less than one percent if virus-suppressing drugs are taken.
