US Says Climate Change Is Threatening Emperor Penguins
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says Antarctica’s emperor penguins are now threatened because of the effects of climate change. The agency warned that the birds are in danger of disappearing if steps are not taken to protect the species.
