New Zealand Proposes Taxing Cow Burps, Angering Farmers

New Zealand’s liberal Labour government proposed taxing the greenhouse gasses that farm animals make as part of a plan to fight climate change. A former Labour government proposed similar plans in 2003 but they were unsuccessful.
