Protection Sought for Snail Near Nevada Lithium Mine
An activist group sent in a request last week with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to protect a very small snail due to a project to begin mining lithium. A mining company representative said the mine’s location was chosen after extensive research to not affect local habitats.
